Wheel Fitment & Engineering
How do I know if these wheels will fit my car?
Fitment depends on Diameter, Width, Offset (ET), PCD (bolt pattern), Load Rating, Brake Clearance, and Suspension Setup. We strongly recommend our FREE Specialist Fitment Consultation. If purchased without consultation, you accept full responsibility for compatibility.
What is Offset (ET) and PCD?
Offset (ET): The distance between the mounting surface and the centerline. Incorrect offset causes rubbing on suspension/guards and handling instability.
PCD: The bolt pattern (e.g., 5x114.3). This must match your vehicle exactly.
I have a modified (lowered/lifted) car. Will they fit?
Modified vehicles require additional clearance checks. We are not liable for incompatibility on lowered/raised suspension, big brake upgrades, or spacers. Always disclose modifications during your consultation.
Should I test-fit before mounting tyres?
Yes. Perform a dry test-fit (no tyre mounted) immediately after delivery. Once tyres are mounted, wheels cannot be returned as they are considered "used" by industry standards.
Australian Legislation & Compliance
What are the legal diameter limits in Australia?
Under VSB 14, overall rolling diameter increases are typically limited to +15mm and decreases to -26mm relative to OEM specs. This ensures speedometer accuracy and ABS functionality. 4WD vehicles may have different allowances based on total lift.
Is it illegal for tyres to stick out past the guards?
Yes. Tyres must be fully covered by the vehicle's guards when viewed from above. Protrusion is a common cause for defect notices and insurance claim denials.
When is an Engineer’s Certificate required?
Certification is usually required if rolling diameter or track width exceeds permitted VSB 14 tolerances, or if modifications significantly affect braking and structural safety.
Shipping, Stock & Processing
How long does delivery take?
Estimated delivery is 1–7 business days after dispatch. Brisbane metro is typically 1-2 days, while interstate (PER/NT/TAS) or regional areas may take longer.
Do you show live stock availability?
No. We do not display real-time supplier inventory. All orders are subject to supplier confirmation. If an item is backordered, you can choose to wait, swap products, or receive a full refund.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Report damage within 48 hours with photographic evidence. We will assist with carrier claims immediately. Risk transfers to you upon delivery or "Authority to Leave" (ATL).
Returns & Consumer Rights
Do you accept change-of-mind returns?
No. We do not accept change-of-mind returns once goods are ordered from suppliers, specially sourced, or mounted. Please ensure your selection is final before checkout.
What if I didn't consult and they don't fit?
Returns may be possible if the wheels are unmounted and unused, subject to supplier approval. A restocking fee (20–30%) and return freight costs will apply.
What are my rights under Australian Consumer Law?
Nothing in our policy limits your ACL rights. For major failures, you are entitled to a refund or replacement. For minor failures, we may repair or replace the item.
Safety, Payments & Privacy
Is professional installation required?
Yes. Installation must be performed by a qualified technician. Safety protocol requires wheels to be re-torqued after 50–100 km. We are not liable for improper installation or incorrect hardware use.
How is my payment and data handled?
All prices are in AUD (incl. GST). Payments are securely processed via Shopify, Stripe, or Apple Pay. We never store full credit card details and never sell your personal data.
Are you based in Brisbane?
Yes. Wheel Lab Solutions is a Queensland-based specialist serving Brisbane and shipping Australia-wide.
